Whispered interpretation is an interpretation in which the interpreter quietly, almost in a whisper, translates the speaker’s words to one or more listeners in real time. Whispered translation is close to simultaneous interpreting, but is done without equipment and without a translation booth.
Whispered interpreting requires an extremely high level of concentration and experience, as the interpretation is done in real time, just like in the case of simultaneous interpreting.
